We are hiring for an Inside Sales Representative at our location just outside of Indianapolis located in Brownsburg, IN.
The primary function of this position is selling customer freight solutions. This individual will be responsible for a high volume of customer interactions, including prospecting, cold-calling, closing deals and account management.
What you will do:
Prospect for sales leads to build a strong customer pipeline
Initiate sales and marketing calls to prospective or current clients
Manage accounts to retain existing relationships
Act as a single point of contact for your customers and their transportation needs by identifying business, negotiating rates, and discussing expectations and services
Succeed at heavy price and service negotiation with customers and carriers
Work in conjunction with our current sales team, carrier management team and customer service reps in our growing logistics department
What you need:
1+ year of successful sales experience, previous transportation/logistics sales experience is a plus
Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships (i.e., a “people person”)
Proficiency with MS Office software; experience with Sales Automation, Customer Relationship Management or web based software programs
Ability to execute a vision, manages multiple priorities, and achieves results
Bachelors degree or equivalent work history

Base Pay + UNCAPPED commission. Average earnings:
Year 1 – $45-55K; Year 2 – $60-70k; Year 3 – $75K+
